Google Maps for Android Auto Gets Updated Colors

Google Maps is rolling out a significant visual update to its Android Auto app. The new color palette introduces a dramatic shift from the traditional warm colors to a newer, colder aesthetic.



One of the most noticeable changes is the mint color that now represents parks and forests, replacing the traditional green tones. Additionally, roads have taken on a sleek grey color. These alterations offer improvements in terms of functionality, but some users may find the contrast jarring.


The revamped color scheme has been integrated into the entire map interface, including prominent UI elements.


Opinions about this visual makeover vary among users. While some appreciate the modern look, others find it difficult to adapt to the change. Only time will tell how users will ultimately respond to this significant visual transformation.
