ChatGPT, the popular AI chatbot, is under fire after an Ars Technica reader revealed it leaked private conversations, including login credentials and personal details, from unrelated users. This alarming breach raises serious concerns about data security and user privacy in AI-powered platforms.




The Leaked Conversations:

The reader-submitted screenshots showcase two particularly concerning conversations. One involved an employee using ChatGPT to troubleshoot issues with a pharmacy prescription drug portal. The leaked conversation exposed usernames, passwords, the app's name, and even the store number facing the problem.



Beyond Credentials:

The leaked data went beyond login credentials. Other conversations revealed details like presentation titles, research proposals, and even PHP scripts, belonging to apparently separate users. This suggests a wider pattern of data exposure within ChatGPT.
