The race to zero emissions is heating up, and Honda has just crossed the finish line for the first production plug-in hydrogen fuel cell electric vehicle (FCEV) in America – the 2025 CR-V e: FCEV. This highly anticipated model boasts an impressive 270-mile driving range, making it a strong contender in the growing market for clean and sustainable transportation.



Key features of the Honda CR-V e:FCEV:

  • 270-mile EPA driving range: This surpasses the range of many popular battery electric vehicles (BEVs) on the market, offering drivers greater peace of mind on longer journeys.
  • Plug-in capability: The CR-V e: FCEV combines a hydrogen fuel cell system with a 17 kWh battery pack, allowing for additional electric driving range and the flexibility of both home and fast charging.
  • Next-generation fuel cell technology: Co-developed with General Motors, the CR-V e: FCEV features Honda's second-generation fuel cell module, offering improved durability, efficiency, and affordability compared to previous models.
