Huawei has once again shaken up the tech world with the launch of its much-anticipated Mate 70 series. Featuring cutting-edge hardware and the debut of HarmonyOS NEXT, this smartphone lineup marks a pivotal moment in Huawei's journey towards software and hardware self-reliance. 




Breaking Free with HarmonyOS NEXT

The biggest highlight of the Mate 70 series is the HarmonyOS NEXT operating system, Huawei’s first OS entirely independent of Android. These chips symbolize a critical step forward in China's semiconductor capabilities, despite ongoing US sanctions restricting access to advanced manufacturing tools.

Despite the impressive features, Huawei faces hurdles:
