Samsung's foldable lineup is about to get a new addition with the Galaxy Z Fold SE, rumoured to be revealed on October 25th. This Special Edition foldable phone is expected to set a new standard in slimness, making it one of the most compact foldable devices Samsung has ever released.

Leaked details suggest that when unfolded, it will be just 4.9mm thick—substantially thinner than the 5.6mm Z Fold 6. Although it won’t claim the title of the slimmest foldable (Honor's Magic V3 is still thinner when folded at 9.2mm), this improvement is a significant leap for Samsung's foldable technology.

The Z Fold SE is also rumoured to feature larger screens than the Fold 6, boasting a 6.5-inch cover display and an 8-inch inner screen. This makes it ideal for users seeking more screen real estate for multitasking or media consumption. The slim bezels and an overall more compact form factor will make the SE a perfect fit for users looking for both portability and functionality.




Hardware and Camera Upgrades

Under the hood, the Galaxy Z Fold SE is expected to pack some serious power with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, ensuring top-tier performance. Camera enthusiasts are in for a treat, with rumours pointing to a 200MP main camera—an impressive leap from the 50MP sensor found in the Fold 6.
