WhatsApp to Soon Allow Users to Log in with Email: Here's How

WhatsApp, the popular instant messaging app owned by Meta, is reportedly testing a new feature that will allow users to log in with their email address. This is a welcome addition, as it will provide users with a convenient alternative login method while enhancing security and ease of access to their WhatsApp accounts.

To link an email address to a WhatsApp account, users will need to go to their account settings and select "Email address." They will then be able to enter their desired email address and verify it by opening the email sent by WhatsApp. Once the email address is verified, it can be used to log in and recover the WhatsApp account.

It is important to note that users will still be required to have a phone number to create a new WhatsApp account. Additionally, the email login feature is optional, so users can choose to use it or not.
The email login feature is currently being tested on Android and iOS, and it is expected to be rolled out to all users in the coming weeks.
